It's just me…

Merely Me February 17, 2010

♫ I am vindicated. I am selfish. I am wrong. I am right. I swear I’m right. I swear I knew it all along. And I am flawed. But I am cleaning up so well. I am seeing in me now the things you swore you saw yourself. I am certain now I am VINDICATED! ♫ -“Vindicated” -Dashboard Confessional

My name is Lauren. I am 21.

I have been to four colleges in four years. I just changed my major to Criminal Justice and plan on using that degree to fight against Human Trafficking in the United States, more specifically, locally in Northern California. I want to join the FBI.

My favorite punctuation mark is the ellipses. . .

I dance to the music of life
Life has many ups and downs, and I often wonder what the soundtrack to my life would be like.  On any given day, the song can change. But I still choose to dance to whatever plays in the background.

I love laughing until I cry.

I love to cook and eat.

I enjoy hiking.

I like hanging spoons on my nose.
It’s a family thing. It’s what we do when we are together.

I’ve always wanted to work on a dude ranch.

I fall UP stairs, not down. It’s a talent, truly.

I believe that one must enjoy the rain, because life is about learning to dance in it.

Lauren you sound like a really fun person. I appreciate that you weren’t put off by my blog’s name and commented anyway. It meant a lot to me and the post is near to my heart. I meant every word and could have put down lots more. Thanks for your kind words. I have a question for you. Would you consider doing a guest post on my site for the month of November about any subject you want? If so, email me please.
